If you are looking for a great event for Memorial Day then head out to the Newman Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Denver, May 28 – 29. The Denver Brass celebrates Memorial Day with “Red, White and Brass: American Salute.”
Join family, friends, veterans and community heroes as they enjoy music from composers Glenn Miller, Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein. The event features rousing marches, classics from Broadway and the swing era, classical and pop favorites and original Colorado sounds.
Ticket price range from $12 for kids balcony seats to $43 for adult Orchestra seats. Students and seniors receive special discounts on tickets. Go to Denverbrass.org for more information on this event and to purchase your tickets online.
